New Town Gwadar
The first phase of the New Town Housing Project was initiated in 1986, exclusively for locals. Initially, minimal charges were required for 500 sq/yd and 1000 sq/yd Residential Plots. Currently, over 50% of the area is populated, and essential facilities such as electricity, drinking water, and telephone services are readily available. Subsequently, Phase-II, III, IV-A, and Phase IV-B were announced. Phase-II and III were also designated for locals, while in Phase-IV, some plots were allocated to individuals from outside Balochistan. It’s surprising that these plots were allotted for only a payment of Rs 5,000 to 10,000. This Housing Project operates under the supervision of DCO Gwadar, with all plot records available at the DCO office in Gwadar.
